By downloading, accessing, or using the U2ME mobile application or associated services (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. U2ME is operated by U2ME Technologies Corp., a Canadian company.
1. Description of the Service
U2ME is a marketplace that connects Clients seeking services with Service Providers offering those services. We supply tools for job posting, job browsing, in-app messaging, offers, phone-number unlocks, payments, and map-based discovery. U2ME does not provide handyman services directly and is not a contractor, employer, agency, or representative of any user.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, reside in Canada, and have the legal capacity to enter binding contracts.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account, provide accurate information, and keep your credentials secure. U2ME may suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree not to post fraudulent jobs, harass or harm other users, request or offer illegal services, circumvent platform fees, or attempt to hack or disrupt the Service. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
5. Payments & Fees
Certain features (e.g., phone-number reveals, promotions) require payment. Transactions are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe. All payments are final unless otherwise required by Canadian law.
6. Messaging, Offers, and Location
The Service enables in-app messaging, offer submissions, and map-based discovery. Location features rely on permissions granted by your device; disabling them may limit functionality.
7. No Guarantees / No Endorsement
U2ME does not guarantee the accuracy of listings, verify skills, or endorse any user. Use the Service at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, U2ME Technologies Corp. is not liable for damages arising from user interactions, job outcomes, downtime, data loss, or loss of profits. Your sole remedy if dissatisfied is to discontinue using the Service.
9. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify U2ME Technologies Corp., its employees, and partners from claims arising out of your use of the Service.
10. Intellectual Property
All branding, logos, and UI elements belong to U2ME Technologies Corp. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Service.
11. Termination
U2ME may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province or territory where you reside.
13. Changes
We may modify these Terms. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
